Delta Squad

Delta Squad is the designation for a group of elite clone commandoes who feature in the video game Star Wars: Republic Commando, the upcoming novel Republic Commando: Triple Zero, and who were recently added into the Star Wars Miniatures game with the latest set. The group consists of four enhanced clones of Bounty hunter Jango Fett who have been specially trained for more covert missions such as espionage, assassination and infiltration. Each member has a distinct personality, regardless of their identical DNA, which allows for specialization amongst the group. They are designated 'Republic Commando' followed by a serial number (RC-****) and are often called by their last two digits. However each has had unique training under different instructors which has formed their identity and led to their adopting nicknames. This was able to meld them together as a lethal team when they went through the training together and practised simulated missions. The Squad featured in the game includes RC-1140 (Fixer), RC-1207 (Sev), RC-1262 (Scorch) and RC-1138 (Boss). Delta Squad fought together for the entire Clone Wars. What happened to them before, during and after the war, is enshrouded in mystery, but there are several reports suggesting that squad was the best in the training before the war, created or cemented republic victories during the war and may have trained the lethal Storm Commandoes after the war. Their best hope was to move fast and silent through the vessel, and recover their objectives. They found the ship under attack by Trandoshan slavers who had formed an alliance with the CIS.
