The Democratic Socialist Party (French: Parti Socialiste Démocratique) is a political party in Morocco. At the last legislative elections, 27 September 2002, the party won 6 out of 325 seats. When I joined in 1958, Jim was general secretary of the organisation that became Militant, Militant Labour and the Socialist Party (CWI section in England and Wales).
Her father was in the Social Democratic Federation and was one of the first Labour councillors in Liverpool.
All other groups claiming to be Trotskyists then opposed the FLN or, like the Socialist Workers' Party in Britain, didn't support national liberation struggles.
