Demokritos is a scientific research centre in Greece, officially known as National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos".
It is the oldest and largest facility in Greece and covers a wide range of scientific research. It houses Institutes of Biology, Materials Science, Microelectronics, Telecommunications, Nuclear Physics, Radioisotopes & Radiodiagnostic Products, and Physical Chemistry. Does the Demokritos university staff think that the Greekness of Thrace is in dispute, needing to reassert their identity on the expense of the Turkish origin minority or do the staff think that this would promote the peaceful coexistence and racial harmony in Thrace.
Is this research group based in Demokritos University of Thrace or they are just purely a front for this jingoistic history, a register of crimes seen through a tinted glass of nationalism.
