Degenerate Elder Gods The Elder Gods were the forerunners to the modern gods of Earth. One of these Elder Gods, Set, realized that he could increase his power by consuming other Elder Gods. He did so, though he degenerated into a demon in the process. All the other Elder Gods, seeing how much more powerful Set was becoming, imitated him and fell on one another, with only Gaea abstaining. Gaea later "mated" with the Demiurge to produce Atum, who dstroyed many of the corrupted Elder Gods; those who weren't destroyed fled to other dimensions. Devils Several demonic entites live in extradimensional realms referred to as Hell, and use humans as pawns and subjects; some have claimed to be Satan. Their origins are shrouded in mystery -- some may be gods who fell out of favor with their pantheon, some are latter generations of degenerate Elder Gods (Damballah and Sligguth are both the spawn of Set), and some were formed from the evil essence left over from the degenerate Elder Gods that Atum had devoured and were shaped by the subconcious desires of their earliest human worshippers (Mephisto, Satannish, and Thog fall into this category). This category also includes messengers and servants who work for the Hell-Lords; these "lesser demons" share the same origins as their masters, but are inferior in power to them (though still superior to most mortals). In metaphysics and esoteric cosmology, a plane of existence (sometimes called simply a plane, dimension, vibrating plane, or an inner, invisible, spiritual, supraphysical world, or egg) is conceived as a subtle region of space (and/or consciousness) beyond, but permeating, the known physical universe (or a portion of the physical...
