Denard Span (born February 27, 1984 in Tampa, Florida) is an AmericanMinor League Baseballoutfielder in the Minnesota Twins organization. He was selected by the Twins with the 20th overall pick in the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft. He bats and throws left handed and mainly due to his exceptional speed, he is considered to be one of the top prospects in the Twins farm system.
