Encyclopedia > Deneb IV

In the fictional Star Trek universe, Deneb IV is a Class M home planet to the Bandi and located in the Alpha Quadrant. Deneb IV is mostly known as the prior location of Farpoint Station, a supposed starbase, but in actually a living being trapped by the Bandi. The planet though has also been known as a popular shoreleave planet by members of Starfleet for over 100 years. Deneb IV first appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode Encounter at Farpoint.
