Denis Gallagher (1922-2001) was a senior Irish politician. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann on his second attempt in 1973 as a Fianna Fáil TD for Mayo West. Gallagher served in the Irish Cabinet on a number of occassions. He retired from politics in 1989.
