Story
Three friends , Naoto , Yuuka , and Ippei have put together their own Personal Computer. The same day that the trio makes this computer , their classmate Takeshi Todo , a lonely rich boy who loves playing monster-creating PC Games , is met by the evil Kahndegifar , a psychotic being living within the "computer world" . Kahndegifar begins to work with Takeshi to bring Takeshi's monsters into the Computer world and wreck havoc, first by attacking a hosptial's computer system , putting the lives of all of it's patients in danger. One of these patients is Naota's brother , Sho. Racing home , Naota and his friends try to destroy the monster on their own with vaccines , but have no luck. Suddenly , Naota is sent a mysterious changing brace from the computer , and meets a mysterious "policeman" of the 'Hyper World' known as Denkou Choujin : Gridman. Gridman has been tracking down Kahndegifar , but is unable to fight without having a solid form to fight with. Naota uses the brace to merge with Gridman in the computer , allowing Gridman to fight and stop the monster. But this is not the end of Kahndegifar's attacks , now our hero's must stop Takeshi AND Kahndegifar with the help of Gridman and his "Helper Programs"!
Characters - Naoto : The main hero of the story . A kind-hearted boy who loves computers. After the attacks by Kahndegifar began to occur , he was contacted by Gridman and sent the changing brace known as the "Accessor" . By pressing a blue button on the Accessor and shouting "ACCESS FLASH!" , Naoto is sent into the 'Hyper World' and merges with Gridman to fight in the Computer World against the monsters sent by Takeshi and Kahndegifar.
- Yuuka : Young girl , one of Naoto's best friends. Helps to maintain the "Junk" Computer she , Naoto and Ippei made together.
- Ippei : Naoto's other friend. Cheerful , he also helps monitor the computer when Naoto/Gridman fights.
- Denkou Choujin Gridman : A 'policeman' of the Hyper World , a parallel world to the "Computer World" a world within all computers. While tracking down Kahndegifar he encountered Naoto and , seeing that Naoto had a good heart , chose him to merge with whenever battle must be done within the Computer world. Naoto , Yuuka and Ippei chat with Gridman over their computer by typing messages to him.
- Maou Kahndegifar: A Legendary 'Devil' of Computer world , wishes to wreak havoc on the Human world. He joins with Takeshi Todo , putting Todo under mind control , to create monsters which attack the Computer World , it is up to Gridman and Naoto to stop him!
- Takeshi Todo : A lonely , rich classmate of Naoto and his friends. Alone and having no friends himself , Todo enjoys making monsters on a PC Game known as "The Castle of Torture". He was put under Kahndegifar's control to make monsters , which Kahndegifar then brings to "life" in the computer world.
