Criticism Unfortunately, majority of his reports are not objective. For instance, in his coverage of Israeli-Palestine conflict he only criticizes one side – Israel. In 2001, in his daily show, Flashpoints, Dennis Bernstein claimed [1] that there was a massacre in Jenin. In 2002, he claimed the same thing [2] even though by then there was ample evidence that this was not true [3][4][5]. In fact, UN commission established that there was no massacre in Jenin [6].
Indian community in North America was appalled by Dennis Bernstein's coverage of Kashmir crisis. Their open letter is available online [7].
Dennis Bernstein is accused of sex discrimination [8], and sexual harassment. The trial is scheduled for 07/07/2006. |
