 The Denver Dynamite were a charter member of the Arena Football League, playing in the inaugural four-team "demonstration" season of 1987. Showcasing a high-powered offense led by former Vanderbilt University star quarterback Whit Taylor, the team nonetheless did not return for the league's second season in 1988.
