A character in Star Wars, Depa Billaba is the padawan of Jedi Master Mace Windu. She is the only other Jedi to master Vaapaad, a form of fighting with the lightsaber. Unfortunately, Depa turned to the Dark Side of the Force while she was on assignment in Haruun Kal. Mace Windu tried to save her, but it is unknown if she ever recovered.
DepaBillaba was a Chalactan Jedi Master serving on the Jedi Council in the times leading up to and during the Clone Wars.
Depa showed her dedication to her homeworld of Chalacta by decorating the bridge of her nose with symbolic markings.
Although she seemed perfectly suited to master this form, Billaba fell to the dark side during the mission to the war-torn planet of Haruun Kal, and Mace Windu was sent to bring her back.
