Journey's first two albums with vocalist Steve Perry, "Infinity" and "Evolution", saw the band vault from little-known progressive rockers to platinum-selling melodic rockers. Journey continued it's streamlined approach to songwriting and the result would be their highest charting album yet.
This album featured their first top 20 hit in "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", which is still featured prominently in the current tours, even being used often as the encore.
