The sharp-eyed among us may also recognise Derek Hockridge from his appearances in the 1970's Granada Television series, Crown Court, in which he played Clerk of The Court. In his younger days, Derek Hockridge was an International-standard Squash Rackets player, representing Wales. In later life, he discovered Real Tennis: a sport where experience, guile and a good eye can make up for youthful agility and exuberance. His keen eye, quick wit and easy charm make Hockridge a popular player on- and off- the court.
