The ethos is interdisciplinary, with a fusion of knowledge of fashion, graphics, product design, architecture and other areas. As a result, there's a unique cross-fertilisation of ideas that leads to some truly original solutions and strategies, and provides a rich and diverse alchemy of outcomes. Vibrant creative thinking The Design Lab was created to bridge the gap between education and the commercial world. A superb platform for fresh talent, the Lab's connection with Central Saint Martins provides insight into a diverse, directional youth market - a network that's cemented twice a year with an influx of specially selected graduates into the team. Lab technicians will typically enjoy paid internships over a six-month period, working closely with a core team of account managers and senior designers and overseen by the Creative Director. The interns contribute to creative projects by working to real briefs, budgets, and deadlines in the managed environment of what's called the Creative Passport Programme. They are given the opportunity to develop their skills beyond their own particular specialism and can train as multi-disciplinary creatives. It's an environment that's constantly evolving and producing new perspectives. |
