Designer Depot is a division of Hudson's Bay Company (HBC), a retailer in Canada. It was created in November 2004. The first location opened as part of the Vaughan Mills Mall in Vaughan, Ontario. It is a large department store that sells designer brand names at prices 25 - 60% below regular department and specialty store prices. It sells clothing, footwear, home decor, housewares, and toys. The merchandise is sourced from around the globe by a team of specialty buyers who buy the merchandise for various reasons, including order cancellations by other retailers, excess stock, liquidations, or bankruptcies.
