The Whalers have had a very colored past. The team began in Detroit, then moved to Oak Park and Auburn Hills. The team moved to Plymouth in 1996 and haven't looked back. They've been called Ambassadors, Jr. Wings and Whalers. But despite the changes, this team continues to win hockey games. The club has made the playoffs in every season except their expansion year of 1990-91.
