There a 6 high schools - Bir Bikram Institution (BBI), Girls Higher Secondary School, DNV, Padmapur and Golden Valley High School, which is also the only one of these institutions to be fully taught in English. BBI is well-known school in the state.Every year students from this institution shine bright on the board exams.The playgrounds and lakes(dighi) in and around the school are the heart of this small town.The shops and temple (Kalibari) around the lake(dighi) when illuminated with light at night ,makes a wonderful sight.
