The Didessa River is an Ethiopian river which rises in the mountains of Gomo. It is a tributary of the Abbay River.


The Wam River, Enareya River, Aet River, Angar River and Dobana River are tributaries of the Didessa.


Downstream of the junction with the Angar the Didessa is rapid-free and potentially navigable.
