Dillinger Four is an influential American punk rock band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Formed in 1994, the band has released four full length albums including: Midwestern Songs of the Americas (1998) and Versus God (2000), both on Hopeless Records; Situationist Comedy (2002) on Fat Wreck Chords; and This Shit is Genius a collection of songs culled from compilations and EPs. The band also released First Avenue Live, a live album recorded in 2003 and released by LSD Records (a tongue-in-cheek alias of No Idea Records, who also released This Shit is Genius). Dillinger Four also appears on numerous compilation CD's. The band has announced a new album, tentatively titled C I V I L W A R, supposedly to be released sometime in 2007.
