The Disney University is a job training location for Cast Members located at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. This building is located behind the Magic Kingdom, across from the employee parking lot. It is primarily used to orientate new employees, and WDWCP student interns, as well as to conduct ongoing training for new programs, policies and procedures to employees who transfer or get promoted to a new job. All new employees attend a Disney Tradition's Class on their first day of work; this class imparts the importance of the Disney history, legacy and brand through several promotional videos, group workshop exercises, and prize winning opportunity's. The entire building is set up with two floors of "class rooms" where job practices are taught and CM's can practice on "fake" cash registers, ticketing machines, and ticket turnstiles. After a formal training period, employees continue to their job locations for further "on site" training.
