A display device, also known as an information display is a device for visual or tactile presentation of images (including text) acquired, stored, or transmitted in various forms. While most common displays are designed to present information dynamically in a visual medium, tactile displays, usually intended for the blind or visually impaired, use mechanical parts to dynamically update a tactile image (usually of text) so that the image may be felt by the fingers. Idiot lights
