Encyclopedia > Division of Farrer

The Division of Farrer is an Australian Electoral Division, centred on the regional city of Albury, New South Wales. The division was first proclaimed in 1949 and is traditionally regarded as a safe Coalition seat.


Naming

The division is named after William James Farrer, an Australian wheat breeder and experimentalist.
