Nicole Lyons is fueled by the same horsepower that moves the cars she races.
Lyons is only 5’6”, her exotic beauty, spirited personality and kinetic intensity make her seem larger than life.
The season kicked off in March of 2006 and Lyons is already breaking track records with her Firebird’s whopping 1100 horsepower engine that she herself built along with her father, the late Jack Davis and the engineering team of QMP.
Lyons was born in Circular Head, near Stanley, Tasmania, the son of Irish immigrants.
In 1909 Lyons was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly.
Lyons became the leading advocate within the government of orthodox finance and deflationary economic policies, and an opponent of the inflationary, proto-Keynesian policies of Treasurer Ted Theodore.
