The airline was established on 1 February 1996 and started operations on 5 February 1996. It was established by former Puntavia director Moussa Riyale. It began as a low-fare commuter service with first flights to Dire Dawa and Hargeisa using a Let L-410 UVP-E aircraft. It is owned by Capt Moussa Waberi (Chairman)(97.3%) and other investors (2.7%) and has 46 employees (at March 2007)[1]. is the 32nd day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. ... The airline was established in 1991 and started operations on 20 March 1991 with one Cessna aircraft.
