With an incredible strong voice, intelligent and emotional lyrics and an astonishing look, Dolcenera is one of the best Italian female singer to date. Her songs are wild and graceful at the same time like the character of Dolcenera is as well. The translation of Dolcenera is sweet and black and these words describe her very well: profound and sexy, vulnerable and strong, rocking and affective and at least an angel and a devil on stage. Her career began like those of most authentic musicians: with a lot of struggle. But this beautiful and tender girl worked on very tough and the success came. She took part in the selection of the competition Destinazione Sanremo on the channel Rai 2 in 2002 and was invited to participate at the Sanremo Festival. She won in the category Young Section of this very famous festival in 2003 with the track Siamo Tutti Là Fuori and also won the Press, TV and Radio Award.
