The Dolly Dots started out as a six member girl group brought together by two dutch producers: Peter van Asten, Richard du Bois and Cees van Leeuwen becoming their first manager.
The publicity story was that the six girls met at a pop festival in Haarlem and decided to form a group after singing together in the dressing room.
The first single for The Dolly Dots was "(Tell It All About) Boys" which to their surprise was an immidiate hit in Holland and did very well in several other European countries.
