Domestic Disturbance (2001) is a thriller/dramamovie, directed by Harold Becker and starring Vince Vaughn and John Travolta. The plot centers around a boy whose parents get divorced. His new stepfather (Vaughn) is a murderer but the boy can't prove. When his father (Travolta) steps in to help his son prove it, things start to heat up.
Tagline:He will do anything to protect his family.
Nonetheless, DomesticDisturbance turns what could have been a deliciously fun bit of divorced-daddy camp and turns it into an unclever, rather lazy thriller that neither thrills, chills, nor delights.
DomesticDisturbance is expertly shot, and the actors muddle through the inferior script and direction.
At least they were enacting some real domesticdisturbances of their own.
