The airline was established in 1960. In October 2004 KrasAir and Domodedovo set up a joint management company called Air Bridge. While retaining separate legal identities the airlines are planning to integrate their networks and services, which are largely complementary. Domodedovo Airlines is owned by State holding (50.4%) and Air Bridge Management (49.6%).
