Don Battye is an Australian born composer and producer but is best known as a former television executive on two of Australiantelevision's longest running soap operas: Sons and Daughters (Australian TV series) in the 1980s which he followed with a stint on Neighbours. He was also responsible for co-composing the famous theme tune to Sons and Daughters (Australian TV series) alongside Peter Pinne with whom he set up the record label, Bayview, in the late 1990s on leaving the Grundy Organisation.
