Dongmyeongseong was the first ruler of Goguryeo. He moved south from the kingdom of Buyeo and settled in a new country called Goguryeo, which he went on to expand. THere is a myth about this king: his mother was from a mermaid family and that he hatched from an egg and can communicate with sea anmials. The Korean language (한국어 or ì¡°ì„ ì–´, see below) is the most widely used language in Korea, and is the official language of both North and South Korea. ...
