According to one of Doris' children, Doris was raised by a grandmother because her mother Beulah had to work.
Doris died on August 25, 1989, as a result of a heart attack complicated by hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis.) Apparently her husband Phillip is alive and living in Washington, DC.
Bender on June 24, year unknown, Doris Ann Bender McDonald, born in 1952, is married to Steven McDonald, Mary Elizabeth Bender Siddons, born in 1953, is married to William Siddons Jr., and Karen Marie Bender was born on May 18, 1959.
