Doda was born to Wanda Rabczewska and Paweł Rabczewski. Her older brother, Rafał, is now her manager.

In 2000, at the age of 16, Rabczewska became the vocalist of the Polish rock band Virgin. She joined Mensa International in 2004, at the age of 20, and she has an IQ of 156.^[1] On March 5, 2005, Rabczewska married Polish goalkeeper Radosław Majdan, whom she later divorced. At the 2005 Sopot Music Festival, Rabczewska won the Srebrny Słowik Music Award. In December 2005, she posed nude for the Polish edition of Playboy Magazine. She also posed for CKM Magazine several times. In 2007, she left Virgin to begin a solo career. Dorota is also the current face of Irn Bru and Koral in Poland. Controversy

Doda often refers to herself as the "Queen" while treating other people with disrespect even on live TV. She is also famous for claming her high IQ (156) but the way she acts doesn't support that fact. Recently, Doda spat on cabaret actors from the KMN group for using her name in a sketch.
