Dot Lake is a census-designated place located in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population of the CDP is 19.


Geography

Dot Lake is located at 63°39'31" North, 144°3'57" West (63.658742, -144.065816)1.


According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 722.9 km² (279.1 mi²). 720.1 km² (278.0 mi²) of it is land and 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.38% water.


Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 19 people, 10 households, and 6 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 0.0/km² (0.1/mi²). There are 19 housing units at an average density of 0.0/km² (0.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 84.21% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 15.79% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.


There are 10 households out of which 20.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 10.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 40.0% are non-families. 40.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
