Double, Double, Toil and Trouble is a 1993 Halloween children's TV movie, starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as twin sisters Kelly and Lynn, whose family is in deep debt and may have to sell their house. But to do this, they must rescue their good aunt Sophia who has been bewitched and trapped in an eerie netherworld within a mirror by her mean twin sister Agatha (Cloris Leachman in a dual rĂ´le), who is responsible for all the family's problems thanks to the evil magic powers she has acquired via a magic moonstone she discovered as a child, which once belonged to a witch. With some help from children's entertainer Oscar and hobo Mr. N, plus a toy magic wand given to the girls by Oscar which turns out to have real magical abilities, Kelly and Lynn manage to free Sophia from the mirror and turn the tables on the evil Agatha, trapping her in Sophia's place; when the mirror ends up being accidentally knocked over and broken, Agatha is left imprisoned forever. 1993 (MCMXCIII) was a common year starting on Friday of the Gregorian calendar and marked the Beginning of the International Decade to Combat Racism and Racial Discrimination (1993-2003). ...
