Double Bay is a harbourside suburb of Sydney, Australia, lying about 3 kilometres east of the central business district (CBD) in the WoollahraLocal Government Area. The small suburb is surrounded by some of Sydney's most expensive suburbs, and for many years was the most fashionable and expensive shopping district in Sydney. It has since lost some of its status to the CBD and, increasingly, the nearly adjacent Bondi Junction. Whether this is linked to Michael Hutchence's conspicious death there is not clear.
