Doug Macdonnell is one of the councillors of Coquitlam, British Columbia. Doug was raised in Coquitlam and has lived in the City for most of his life. He is married to Kathy and they are raising two sons: Devon, aged 15 and Jordan, aged 3. Doug is a retired RCMP officer. He was elected to Council in 20X6. Doug has been active in the community, including: serving as the President of Coquitlam City Soccer, serving as a Director of the Coquitlam Field Sports Association, serving as head coach for the Coquitlam Minor Football Association and also volunteering with Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. He has also served on numerous committees for recreation and cultural services.
