Disciples of Doug Dascenzo (2773 words)
OK, signing Wade Miller to a 1-year, $1 million contract doesn’t totally redeem the fact that Hendry is going into the season with two rookies starting crucial positions, a crappy right fielder, and Neifi Perez still on the roster, but it helps.
Miller is another player with a history of injuries, and will likely be out until May recovering from surgery to fix a torn labrum, but this is essentially a win-win situation for the Cubs.
As soon as we walked through the doors, there was Doug Glanville (my second favorite non-HOFer behind Dascenzo).
