Douglas is a mostly catholic community of approximately 300 residents in Renfrew County, Ontario. It has its own hydroelectric dam located on the third chute of the Bonnechere River. There is a small Catholic Church Located at the North end of town next to the Catholic school. Douglas has its own post office, convenience store and hotel. There is a large tractor dealership in the heart of downtown. Douglas is famous for its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration which draws hundreds of people every year.
