His works include the screenplay of To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, as well as several theatrical works. His stage work includes writing the Broadway plays "The Little Dog Laughed" and the "As Bees in Honey Drown" which ran at New York's Lucille Lortel Theatre in 1997. Beane often writes works with sophisticated, "drawing room" humor. To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar is a 1995 Hollywood film, starring Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo. ...
