Douglas Futuyma is currently Professor of Evolutionary Biology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is an internationally recognized researcher, focusing on the interaction between plant-eating insects and the plants themselves, and the author of the principal college-level evolutionary biology textbook, Evolutionary Biology.
