Dr. Debolt is a friendly mad scientist who works for Khan Industries. He appears in the four-part pilot miniseries of Tale Spin, Plunder and Lightning. Debolt is the one who created the sub-electron amplifier, and took an almost childlike joy in explaining how it worked to anyone who would listen, a talent that was called upon to explain to Baloo and Rebecca Cunningham the stone's nature.
