Biography

In 1992, the brothers Ivan and Andria Busic with Edu Ardanuy, went to U.S.A. to try the musician career. After many shows, they signed with WEA.
In 1993, the first Brazilian appearance for the big media, was at the Hollywood Rock Festival, where they shared the stage with Nirvana and L7. They played with Ian Gillan too. In this same year, the Warner Music International was released the first album (Dr. Sin) in 9 countries.
The music Emotional Catastrophe would remain on the hits parades, with clip in MTV rotation, and it was one of sound track of the TV Serie Confissões de Adolescente (one famous serie in Brazil). You Stole My Heart and Scream & Shout, two clips produced after this, didn't gain same fame. In 1994, the band played in Monsters of Rock Brazil, with Black Sabbath, Slayer, Kiss and with Brazilians of Angra, Viper and Raimundos.
Followed by Brutal(1995) which was released in Japan under the title of "Silent Scream". The music Isolated was the success in Japan. Is recorded also the clip of song Down in the Trenches. The success of this album, they opening for such bands as Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

In 1997 Dr. Sin back to USA for record the new album(Insinity) in Michael Vescera's(ex-Yngwie Malmsteen) studio. Vescera produced the album and did a special participation in song No Rules. Jonathan Mover (ex-Joe Satriani, Alice Cooper, Saigon Kick and Einstein) did a special participation in song Insomnia.
In Insinity, another classic appeared: Futebol, mulher e Rock 'n Roll entered in hit parades of Brazil; it was one of the most musics more playing in radios of Brazil in 1997. The clip also playing a lot in MTV Brazil.
In festival Skol Rock, they were played with Bruce Dickinson, Scorpions and Dio. They were also opening for Yngwie Malmsteen. The Swedish guitarist loved the opening show, and he decides to launch an album of his presentation, called Live in Brazil, that were includes in Japanese version one EP with four musics of Dr. Sin live.

In 2000 DR SIN innovates. They release Dr Sin II on newsstands all over Brazil. The power trio becomes now a quartet with Michael Vescera (ex-Obsession, MVP, Loudness and Yngwie Malmsteen) on the lead vocals. Another guests were Sérgio Buss (Steve Vai, Tritone) and Roland Grapow (ex-Helloween). The song Time After Time, was the sound track of Formula Truck in Brazil.
Ten Years Live(Cd / Dvd), recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was launched in the end of 2003, now with new label (Paradoxx Music) they come back again in trio format. The DVD shows one of the best concerts of their career. Andre Matos (ex-Angra and Shaaman) was a very special guest on the concert singing one of DR SIN's biggest hits: "Fire".
In 2005, they launched Listen to the Doctors. The album where they play classic Hits from legends like Kiss, Black Sabbath,The Beatles, UFO, Mötley Crüe, Van Halen, etc...
