In 2004 he released Hell and Back, in which he shows his newer hardcore style. In this album he also relates to real life issues such as his mother Terrie Smith's battle with throat cancer, family member struggles with drugs, being abandoned by his father, street fights, losing unborn twin boys to a miscarriage, and living and sleeping wherever he could for awhile. Future projects

After 10 years in the game with the Ruff Ryders, Drag-On is ready to step out on his own and take his destiny into his own hands, as he launches his own label, Hood Environment. Drag stated that he left Ruff Ryders because he was with them for 10 years and was only able to put out 2 albums. Drag-On is the CEO of his new label Hood Environment and already has several new artist signed to it. He expects to release his album sometime this year. His newest mixtape is led off by the single "Shoe Box," which is already getting play on the internet.


Drag-On's third album 'Hood Environment' is released on September 4th
