"Dreaming of Me" is the debut single by Depeche Mode originally released on February 20, 1981 in the UK. There were two versions of the song. The regular single version has a fade-out ending, while an alternate version has no fade out. The alternate version is on the CD rerelease of Speak and Spell in Europe, while the American Speak and Spell (and all singles compilations with the song) has the regular version.
