Dreams So Real was an American rock band and a signficant part of the Athens, Georgia music scene. The band formed in 1984, releasing their first single the following year, "Everywhere Girl". The song was produced by Peter Buck of R.E.M., and was followed by 1986's Father's House. The band then signed with Arista and released several more albums which sold poorly and the band broke up after being dropped by Arista.
