Drew Sharp is a Detroit Free Press sports writer. He covers the Detroit sports. He is known for his positively strong opinion towards African Americans, including the minority candidate rule in the National Football League. He recently wrote a book with fellow Detroit sports writer Terry Foster. In his spare time he doubles as the Grand Inquisitioner of Michigan State University sports (a noble position established by the now departed Joe Falls). Along with The Detroit News, the Detroit Free Press is one of the two major metro Detroit newspapers. ... An African American (also Afro-American, Black American, or simply black) is a member of an ethnic group in the United States whose ancestors, usually in predominant part, were indigenous to Africa. ... The National Football League (NFL) is the largest professional American football league, consisting of thirty-two teams from American cities and regions. ...
