Drífason is a one man Black Metal act from Buffalo , New York. The act came about from the time of Autumn 2005. Being fairly new to the USBM scene , Drífason shows to be a promising act consisting of one member only (Member goes under the alias of Drifason or Døni). Drífason began writing Black Metal under the name Nifheleim around January of 2005 , but soon scrapped the project for various reasons.
Drífason means , in viking terms - the son of snowfall. Drífason chose this name to describe his music (cold) and himself.
