The Droitwich Canals are an Englishcanal system in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. The early Droitwich Barge Canal was opened in 1771 and allowed Droitwich's salt trade to be connected to the River Severn several miles away. The 1854 Droitwich Junction Canal (one of the last to be built in England) linked that canal with the Birmingham and Worcester Canal.
