The Dropbears were a band who played in the Sydney live music scene in the early 1980s who also had a couple of national chart hits and received national airplay. They had a minor charting hit with Shall We Go in 1985. Band was formed in Darlinghurst Sydney 1980 consisted on Johnny Bachelor, Simone Rudin and Chris Toms (Criss Cross) - Chris coined the name Dropbears - prior to this Johnny and Simon were jamming with bass player Rod , but it wans't happening , Chris lived downstairs and Johnny asked him to join the , as then unnamed band - How do I know all this ?
