Normally potassium, sodium and calcium salts are used as electrolytes in the extracellular fluid in a human body to assist neuromuscular contractions, so it would be advisable for a pregnant woman to ingest food containing those nutrients. For example eating bananas, a sufficient amount of salts (potassium or sodium salts) and dairy products would be advisable.
